Giving Back
At Covington Family Dental we value giving back in both our community and other communities. Below are some images of the various ways we've given back.
As oral healthcare providers, we have been blessed with the opportunity to serve others in a way they can’t care for themselves. This is a privilege that we take seriously. Unfortunately, there are many people who do not have access to the type of oral healthcare they need. Our team is committed to serving those in need and has a track record of doing so.
Locally, Dr. Blair has volunteered with Medical Teams International, serving in their Mobile Dental Clinics at locations such as The Recovery Café and Mary’s Place. Dr. Blair and team members travel to local schools and daycares to provide oral health education to children in the area and hand out oral hygiene supplies. We also participate in the Adopt-A-School Program as the safety net for any kids from Covington Elementary and Jenkins Creek Elementary who are in discomfort and have no access to dental care.
Globally, Dr. Blair is connected with the community of Cotzal, Guatemala, where he and members of our team at Covington Family Dental have served with multiple dental mission trips. Partnering with the organization When It Needs Doing (WIND), Dr. Blair will continue travelling to Cotzal to care for some of the most underserved and malnourished people in the Western Hemisphere.
