This early passion in dentistry encouraged me to pursue a dental education, whereas I received my Associate Dental Hygiene degree from Pierce College and my Bachelor of Dental Hygiene Science degree from Eastern Washington University. I thoroughly love my career as a dental hygienist! My patients become members of my dental family as I learn about their lives, families, careers and adventures. Since graduating, I am a proud member of both the Washington State Dental Hygienists' Association and the American Dental Hygienists' Association. I continually attend dental courses, both local and afar to ensure I offer my patients the most up to date information in oral health care management. In addition, I have the amazing opportunity to travel to Guatemala on dental mission trips with the WIND organization and bring dental resources to people in need. Also, I am a graduate of the Comprehensive Introductory Course to Orofacial Myotherapy. I am always interested to share my knowledge regarding developmental anatomy/physiology and the relationship to dental, speech, breathing, oral habits and the interaction of the orofacial complex from birth.

I have greatly enjoyed my career and position as a dental hygienist at Covington Family Dental since 1995, first for Dr. Ken Russell followed by Dr. Kyle Blair (Dr. Russell's nephew). In my personal time, I enjoy distance running, cycling, hiking along with gardening, travel and active adventures. I keep very busy with family time, which includes my husband, married children and grandchildren.

Hi! I am Lindsey and my goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible while attaining your most confident smile and optimum oral health.

I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre, Dame, IN before completing my dental hygiene degree from Pierce College in Tacoma, WA. I have been a hygienist at Covington Family Dental since 2008, but I have been part of the Covington Family Dental team since 2001.

When I am away from the office, you will find me staying busy with my two young children, Ava and Nolan, spending time in the kitchen as I love to cook and getting outside as much as possible!

Providing an exceptional experience and creating lifelong relationships with patients are my favorite parts of being a dental hygienist! I completed my Dental Hygiene degree from Columbia Basin College in Tri Cities, WA after receiving my Associate of Science from Bellevue College. I enjoy attending continuing education courses and staying up to date with oral health maintenance, in order to provide excellent care. In my free time you'll find me spending time with my husband and our three young children attending Seattle sporting events, gardening, baking, and staying busy with family and friends.

Education and engagement is very important to me, as well as equipping my patients with the knowledge and tools to improve their oral health on a daily basis. I take pride in my ability to connect with my patients on a deeper level and make them feel comfortable during their dental visits, while treating them with top-tier quality care and kindness. In 2023, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Eastern Washington University. However, my journey in the dental field started many years ago when Dr. Blair hired me as a Sterilization Technician here at Covington Family Dental while I was taking my prerequisite courses at Green River College. It has been very special to me to return back to this office once again and have the opportunity to care for patients on a deeper level as a dental hygienist.

Outside of the office, I enjoy taking road trips and going camping, riding quads and dirt bikes, wake surfing, and snowboarding. I love hosting get-togethers with friends and planning my next trip around the world. Most days, you can find me at the gym with my boyfriend and going on long walks with our German Shepherd, Pax. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

I was fortunate to have a wonderful family friend that was a dentist when I was a child who taught me how personally rewarding it is to help people to not only be comfortable, but enjoy their visit to the dentist. I'm able to do that here. We have a terrific team atmosphere. We all strive to give our best to each person we encounter. When I'm not here at the office I love spending time with my family. There's nothing like having the kids and grandkids over to the house for mealtime with myself and my husband. I also enjoy camping and the water, whether it is time on the lake in my husband's jet boat or splashing around in the beach waves. I am lucky enough to live here in the great Pacific Northwest where I can enjoy the outdoors. I look forward to seeing you here in the office!

In my free time, I love traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. I also enjoy camping and hiking in the PNW and gardening and growing my own fruits and vegetables. I enjoy these things with my husband Jeremy and our three kitties: June Bug, Cash and Chester!

We love to hike, travel, and spend time exploring the outdoors with our three dogs. As an assistant, I strive to ensure that patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits. I believe that going to work holds something new and is an opportunity to make sure our patients feel comfortable and leave happy.

My job is to make sure you are comfortable and confident in the care you receive while we work together. When I am not at the office I enjoy spending time with my daughter and family camping, exploring and traveling.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu and getting creative with crafting and art projects.
